Our Diet Pill Reviews will help you find the diet pills that work and avoid the ones that don't.
Diet-Pills.cc is developed by people who have been in the weight loss industry for many years and have seen it all and tried most of it, as far as diet pills. We know better than anyone else which pills are the duds and which ones actually help you to lose weight, get ripped or both.
Our Purpose at Diet-Pills.cc is to provide unbiased diet pill reviews and information. Check out our Diet Pill Reviews, or click on the links above for other diet pills online information.
How Diet Pills are Reviewed
When reviewing diet pills we look at a few different criteria that we have found to be critical in determining whether a diet pill is good, bad or just plain ugly. Our criteria for reviewing diet pills is as follows:
Is there scientific evidence that the ingredients used in the diet pill are effective for weight loss? To answer this question we look deep into the history of the diet pill ingredients, seeking sound scientific and statistical clinical trials and clinically-based research that support or disprove their abilities to whip the fat away. As a note, many diet pill companies publish bogus clinical studies about their drugs and we love nothing more than to expose these false claims so that no one falls victim to their lies.
Are the diet pill ingredients present in amounts that will have weight loss effects? Most of the time we find that although a diet pill contains an ingredient that promotes weight loss, there is not enough of it to have an effect. Some diet pill ingredients have to be consumed in such large quantities to promote weight loss that the pill would be enormous, and so would the cost. We expose the diet pills that may have great ingredients, but not enough of them to help you lose the pounds.
What is the history and current customer relations reputation of the company selling the diet pills? We try to never promote a diet pill that has been sold by a company with a bad reputation, be it for spamming, lawsuits, false advertising, poor customer care and so on. We look into the practices of every company, helping you avoid the bad ones and sending you to ones that deserve your patronage.

Thinz Review
Thinz is a weight loss product in the form of a pill that is manufactured by Alva-Amco, which is also known for its production of over-the-counter medications, nutritional supplements, and medical devices. Thinz is only one of over twenty different brands that have been created and manufactured by Alva-Amco. Their other over-the-counter products focus on issues such as skin problems (anti-fungals, psoriasis medication), as well as analgesics, and diuretics.
With Thinz, the claim is that it is an effective weight loss aid. In fact, there are three different Thinz products, each with a different marketing angle. These three products are: Thinz Carbofast Dietary Supplement Caplets, Thinz All-Natural Capsules, and Thinz All-Natural Caplets.
The marketing materials for Thinz products say that all three of these products have all-natural ingredients, that they suppress the appetite, that they provide an energy boost, and that the metabolism will be able to process fat more effectively. On top of this, the Thinz Carbofast Dietary Supplement Caplets also claim to inhibit the body from additional fat storage.
The ingredients lists in the all-natural Thinz drugs are not long, which – if the ingredients are properly chosen, is actually a great deal more promising than many other supplements with long lists of ingredients, but not enough of anything to make a difference.
Thinz Carbofast Dietary Supplement Caplets contains white bean extract, green tea leaf extract, turmeric extract, croscarmellose sodium, dicalcium phosphate, magnesium stearate, maltodextrin, microcrystalline cellulose, pharmaceutical glaze, stearic acid, and talc. This is by far the product with the longest ingredient list.
Thinz All-Natural Capsules contain chromium, riboflavin, green tea leaf extract, gelatin, magnesium silicate, pharmaceutical glaze, non pareill seeds, titanium dioxide, and turmeric. While it does seem promising that this pill contains 480 milligrams of green tea leaf extract, which can make it quite effective (as many diet pills do not contain even half of the required amount of green tea in order to be effective), it may concern many that this drug contains chromium, and so much of it. Experts at the Mayo Clinic say that there is not enough scientific evidence to show that there is any proof for the claims being made about this ingredients, and other medical professionals are saying that it has been linked with renal failure in rare instances, and that it interferes with neurotransmitters. Lab studies on animals have also shown that chromium can cause DNA damage.
Thinz All-Natural Caplets contain riboflavin and green tea leaf extract. Essentially, this pill is the equivalent of drinking about fourteen cups of green tea every day. It may have some mild weight loss benefits.
The only Thinz product sold on the manufacturer’s website is Thinz Weight Loss Program. These diet pills contain alfalfa, cayenne pepper and green coffee. The actual amounts of these ingredients are not disclosed, thus it is difficult to determine whether they will be effective in helping someone lose weight. According to the official website, Thinz Weight Loss Program pills should be used in conjunction with ThinzEdge eating plan.

Apatrim Review
Apatrim is a stimulant-free diet pill that acts as an appetite suppressant and is intended to make weight loss occur more quickly and easily than dieting alone. Although the official website states that no healthy diet or exercise plan need be undertaken when taking this diet pill, there is the Apatrim Meal Plan that can be downloaded. This meal plan, however, does not provide nutritional information or calories for each meal and does not provide clear directions about how the foods should be prepared or served.
The official literature for Apatrim says that it allows for weight loss without the use of starvation or stimulants and the claim is that 100 percent of individuals who used the main ingredient in this drug were able to lose some weight. This main ingredient – the only one listed on the website – is Caralluma Fimbriata Plant Extract. This being said, there are no reputable clinical studies mentioned in order to back this claim.
This claim is made further suspicious by the fact that other studies, such as that published in the medical journal, Appetite, in May of 2007 by the Institute of Population Health and Clinical Research at St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences (Division of Nutrition) said that though there was some hunger level decrease among those participants in the study who had taken the caralluma fimbriata plant extract over the placebo group, when those two groups were compared in terms of their body mass index (BMI), body fat, hip circumference, and energy intake between the study’s assessment time periods, the two groups were found to be “not significantly different.”
Furthermore, there is no ingredients list available on the official website to help prospective buyers to investigate the promises about the ingredients by themselves. The site says that no matter what is eaten, and even without any additional exercise, by using this pill, the hunger cravings and appetite are suppressed and eating naturally occurs less frequently.
The main positive piece of information available on the website is that there is a ninety day money back guarantee (less the shipping and handling costs). This is especially important as there are no free trial samples being offered by the manufacturer.
Product Information
Suggested Use: Take 2 capsules 30 minute prior to lunch and dinner. Do not exceed 6 capsules in a 24 hour period.
Ingredients: (Serving Size: 2 capsules)
| Caralluma Fimbriata |

Hydroxyslim Review
Hydroxyslim is a diet pill that advertises ephedra as one of its ingredients. It should be noted that the FDA and Health Canada, as well as many other national health organizations, have banned ephedra. In the case of the United States and Canada it is illegal to buy, sell or produce products with this ingredient. Before buying any product that includes ephedra you should not only find out if it’s legal to do so in your region, but you should also speak with your doctor so that he or she can advise you as to the very dangerous possible side effects that frequently occur with the use of drugs including that ingredient.
There are other ingredients in Hydroxyslim other than ephedrine. They include: Garcinia Cambogia, Salicin Complex, Theobromine, Ephedra, Yohimbe Extract, Chromium Picolinate, Theobroma Cocoa, Acaicia Rigidula Extract, Guarana and Bitter Orange Extract.
The basis of Hydroxyslim diet pills is primarily ephedra – a dangerous and often illegal ingredient – combined with other stimulants such as Guarana and bitter orange, which often lead to anxiety, nervousness, jitters, insomnia, headaches, and other discomforts.
For 120 caplets, Hydroxyslim diet pills have been found as cheaply as $29.95 online, which isn’t very expensive compared to other similar products, but the price is high when considering the health risk that is involved in taking the drug. The only true advantages to Hydroxyslim seem to be that all of its ingredients are plant-based and that they are all available to review online, however the actual quantities of most of the ingredients is not provided.
There are many warnings to people who have specific health conditions ranging from pregnancy and nursing to glaucoma, diabetes, prostate problems, high blood pressure, heart disease, and thyroid conditions. The list of possible side effects (many of them quite serious) is very long and neither guarantees nor testimonials are offered by its manufacturer.
With so many health risks and so few advantages or guarantees, this review simply cannot recommend this diet pill for use for weight loss. Instead, it is recommended that a safer alternative to Hydroxyslim be sought by speaking to a qualified doctor who can make a suggestion specific to the needs and medical background of the individual patient.

Exceeding the recommended serving will not improve results and may cause serious adverse health effects including heart attack and stroke.
Individuals under the age of 18 are not suggested Hydroxyslim for use. Also not be used by a pregnant women or when nursing a newborn baby. Consult a physician before using the product if you have, or have a history of, heart disease and thyroid disease, diabetes, high blood pressure, recurrent headaches, depression or other psychiatric condition, glaucoma, difficulty in urinating, prostate enlargement or seizure disorder or if you are using a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI) or any other dietary supplement, any prescription drug or over-the-counter drug containing ephedrine, pseudoephedrine or phenylpropanolamine.
Please read about the Ephedra Ban. The safety of ephedra products is currently under review by the FDA. Diet Pills containing ephedra alkaloids are currently banned for sale in the U.S.

LipidFX Review
LipidFX is a weight loss supplement drug that is manufactured by the company called Scivation. It takes an angle slightly different from many of the other over-the-counter diet pills currently available in that its main marketing angle is toward its working with three important fatty acids in order to help people to lose fat instead. But does LipidFX actually work?
When reviewing real customer reviews of LipidFX diet pills, there appeared to be more negative opinions about this product than positive ones. Though this is not necessarily a scientific way of judging whether or not the drug actually works, it can give some indication as to how satisfied certain customers have been with its use.
This being said, LipidFX diet pills, as of yet, have no known unwanted side effects, which is promising in terms of the safety of its use. The ingredients highlighted by the marketing materials are the three fatty acids they advertise in their main selling statements. These are Oleoylethanolamide (OEA), Stearoylethanolamide (SEA), and TetradecylThioacetic Acid (TTA).
OEA has not shown to be of benefit as of yet in any human studies, but Spanish studies on rats have shown that the fatty acid has had some metabolism boosting impact. It may also have some appetite suppression ability, though that has not been confirmed in animal or human studies.
SEA works on the liver and research from Denmark has started to suggest that it may assist the body in lowering the amount of fat that it absorbs and stores, though further research is required to truly make this determination.
TTA has had some studies performed to discover its benefits, primarily one in Norway performed on humans. The belief had been that blood lipids (fat) would be decreased, but there was no indication of this in the study. Instead, it suggested that the plasma concentration is heightened by TTA, which has no impact on weight loss whatsoever.
The research on the three primary ingredients does continue to leave the efficacy of the drug in question. It is unclear as to whether or not there is anything that this drug has to offer that is scientifically proven to assist with weight loss on any level.
Though the price of a bottle of LipidFX diet pills retails for about $35 USD, it should still be considered a risk since there is no way of knowing if it could actually work. Though it may not be a lot of money, it may be money better saved or spent on a product that contains at least a few ingredients known to promote weight loss.
Product Information
Suggested Use: Take 2 capsules two times per day with meals at least 6-8 hours apart.
Ingredients: (Serving Size: 4 capsules)
| TTA (Tetradecylthioacetic acid) |

| PhosphoLean (standardized to 24% OEA (Oleoylethanolamide) and 14% EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate) |
350mg |
| SEA (Stearoylethanolamide) |

Syneburn Review
Syneburn is a form of supplement that is marketed for use as a tool to help with weight loss. It is a competitively priced product manufactured by PrimaForce, which also creates several other kinds of products for weight loss and body enhancements. The manufacturer of Syneburn diet pills claims taking this product will have effects that include appetite suppression, energy boost, and accelerated fat burning.
Syneburn is very similar to many other weight loss supplements currently for sale in that it relies on the effect of a powerful stimulant for its weight loss effects. This isn’t necessarily a bad thing, as stimulants such as caffeine, ephedra and synephrine can really improve the body’s ability to burn fat and stay energized. However, some stimulants are safer than others.
The only ingredient contained in Syneburn diet pills is Synephrine HCl, which is a stimulant extracted from the fruit of the Citrus aurantium (bitter orange) tree. Synephrine became very popular as a weight loss aid when ephedra products became banned for sale in a number of countries since synephrine acts similarly, but with fewer dangerous side effects. This said, it is now being found that there are a number of potentially harmful side effects associated with taking synephrine, including heart arrhythmias, high blood pressure, stroke and heart attacks.
Each Syneburn diet pill contains 10mg of Synephrine HCl, which is a very low amount compared to most other diet pills that contain this ingredient. Although this is good news for those concerned about the side effects caused by taking too much synephrine, it is also bad news for those hoping to reap the benefits of taking this natural stimulant.
Due to the fact that Syneburn contains only a small dose of one ingredient per serving, it is not surprising that these diet pills are sold for relatively cheap. A two month supply (180 capsule bottle) of Syneburn is sold for about $14 USD (plus S&H). At this low price it may be a tempting buy, but it’s really not even worth this investment. After all, a waste of money is a waste of money, and Syneburn diet pills, even if they are cheap, will likely not help you lose even an ounce of weight.
Product Information
Suggested Use: As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule 1-3 times daily prior to meals.
Ingredients: (Serving Size: 1 capsule)
| Synephrine (from Citrus Aurantium) |
10mg |
Other Ingredients: Microcrystalline Cellulose, Gelatin
Caution: Not for use by individuals under the age of 18. Do not use if pregnant or nursing. Consult a physician or licensed qualified health care professional before using this product if you are at risk for, have been treated for, or are diagnosed with high blood pressure, heart disease, thyroid disease, depression or other psychiatric condition, renal disease, recurrent headaches, spasms, have asthma or taking asthma medication, or if you are using a monoamine oxidase inhibitor (MAOI). Keep out of reach of children. Always consult a physician prior to using any dietary supplements.

Trim-Endous Review
Trim-Endous is a diet drug that is available on the over-the-counter marketplace. That is, it can be purchased without a prescription. That being said, it is always advisable to speak to your doctor before beginning the use of any weight loss medication because there is always a risk of conflicts with other drugs being taken, or medical conditions that can be worsened through various innocent-seeming ingredients.
The ingredients included within Trim-Endous diet pills are mulberry leaf extract, citrus aurantium extract, cassia seed extract, coicis extract (concentration not revealed), and medical amylum (starch). Considering this ingredients list, it is important to note that there is a concern that is often mentioned among experts about citrus aurantium extract, which is also known as bitter orange.
The Mayo Clinic has published a report regarding ingredients that are commonly found in weight loss medication and it lists citrus aurantium among those that it would not trust. Though the claim is that this ingredient will help to burn calories more quickly, the Mayo Clinic says that there have not been enough studies to provide any evidence to support this claim and that the ingredient may, in fact, be unsafe. Therefore, people considering Trim-Endous or any other diet drug containing bitter orange, also known as citrus aurantium extract, should be very wary of this ingredient and may think twice before exposing themselves to its effects. This is another reason that it is very important to speak to a doctor before taking a diet drug such as Trim-Endous.
The primary ingredient in Trim-Endous diet pills is mulberry leaf extract. There has been more and more research conducted on the effects of this herb on stabilizing blood sugar levels, and so far it appears to have some benefit. By stabilizing blood sugar levels, mulberry leaf extract can help to curb hunger.
The last three ingredients contained in Trim-Endous diet pills are all diuretics. Although the advertising states that cassia seed and coicis extract help boost metabolism, there is no clinical proof of this claim.
Overall, the formula for Trim-Endous diet pills suggests that this product will act like diuretic diet pills rather than having any real benefit for increasing metabolism or suppressing hunger and appetite. Diuretic diet pills, in general, may cause short-term weight loss due to loss of water weight, but will not help the body rid itself of fat. In fact, most diuretic diet pills dehydrate the body, which actually slows metabolism and slows down the fat burning process.
Product Information
Suggested Use: Most people take 1 pill after breakfast with a large glass of water, but if needed you may increase to 2 per day. You may feel thirsty, slightly nauseous or experience sleep deprivation – not many people experience these side effects, but if you do these symptoms will decrease over a 7 day period. After 1 week if symptoms persist we recommend taking 1 tablet every 2-3 days, once your body has adapted well to the pill, you can take 1 pill each day.

Consult your doctor if you have any of the known medical conditions such as – diabetes, high blood pressure, heart or thyroid problem, apoplexy, cerebrovascular disease, addicted to drug, medicine or alcohol, or if taking anti-depressants. Keep out of reach of children.

FucoGreen Review
FucoGreen is a newly developed weight loss drug that has been developed by Olympian Labs, claiming to support a “healthy diet and weight maintenance program”. It combines ingredients seeing a lot of hype, controversy, and media attention to make a single formula. These ingredients include hoodia gordonii, green tea extract, and fucoxanthin.
Though many other weight loss supplements do include these ingredients, the marketers for FucoGreen diet pills claim that their version is different simply because their type of fucoxanthin is different and superior to others, and that they include both hoodia and green tea extract, instead of just one of the other.
That being said, they do not mention how much of each of these ingredients are included in each dose of the drug. Therefore, there is no way of knowing whether or not each dose contains enough green tea extract in order to produce a desirable result. Though green tea can assist with weight loss, it requires a certain amount to be consumed every day, and there is no way of knowing whether or not FucoGreen provides an adequate amount.
Furthermore, though hoodia gordonii can be found just about anywhere that diet pills are sold, there has never been a clinical study performed by a reputable company in a reliable way to show that hoodia does indeed help with weight loss. Though it has been used as a traditional medicine in South Africa’s Kalahari Desert region to help stave off hunger pains in times of famine, its performance in diet pills is not comparable to its use in natural form and has not shown significantly beneficial results.
The only ingredient that really makes a difference in FucoGreen diet pills is Fucoxanthin. Fucoxanthin is a xanthophyll, which is a pigment found in some types of algae. Fucoxanthin gained popularity as a diet pill ingredient when a study conducted in 2005 found that it promoted the burning of fat in fat cells. However, it is important to note that this study was conducted with mice and not humans. There have still not been any clinical studies conducted with Fucoxanthin to determine whether it can promote weight loss in humans or what dosages would be necessary for this effect.
Despite containing some rather common and unproven ingredients, a positive aspect of FucoGreen diet pills is that their ingredients are relatively safe for use by most people. Also, FucoGreen diet pills retail for about $30 USD for a month’s supply, which is not too bad of an investment if you want to give this product a try. Still, don’t expect too much as far as this product helping you to lose weight.
FucoGreen diet pills do contain green tea extract that provides caffeine to the formula, so people who are sensitive to stimulants may want to look into stimulant-free diet pills for an alternative.

TestoRipped Review
TestoRipped is marketed as diet pills for men and the advertising claims they help the user to build lean muscle while reducing body fat to achieve more defined appearance. Whether or not TestoRipped can actually live up to those claims is another thing altogether.
To start, the ingredients for TestoRipped include: Tribulus Terrestris, Caffeine Anhydrous, Arginine AKG, Creatine Ethyl Ester, L-Glutamine, Cinnamon, Synephrine, Guggulsterones and Yohimbine.
The primary ingredient in TestoRipped diet pills is an herb called Tribulus terrestis. This herb gained popularity in the 1970’s because it was thought it could enhance the male sex drive by slightly increasing natural testosterone levels. Today, both in the diet pill and bodybuilding supplement industries, there are a number of products that contain Tribulus terrestis and promote it as a testosterone-boosting ingredient that helps to build muscle and burn body fat. Unfortunately, there are currently no conclusive studies that support these claims, in fact this herb consistently failed to show any of these effects in most animal and human studies.
The second largest ingredient used in TestoRipped diet pills is caffeine anhydrous, which is simply a snazzy-sounding name for regular caffeine. It is one of only a few ingredients in this formula that has actually been shown to help users to lose weight because it helps in boosting energy levels, making exercise more appealing, effective, and possible, while also increasing the body’s metabolic rate (ability to burn fat). This being said, TestoRipped diet pills only contain 150mg of caffeine anhydrous, which is about the same amount you would get from a large cup of coffee so you can expect the impact of this ingredient to be rather minimal.
Another stimulant found in TestoRipped diet pills is Synephrine. Like caffeine, synephrine can help with weight loss by increasing energy levels and metabolism. Again, however, these diet pills contain such a small amount (15mg) that the effect will likely not be strong enough for most people to reap these benefits.
For those guys who are interested in TestoRipped for its ability to promote muscle growth, the addition of creatine to the formula may look promising. Creatine is used by many body builders and in numerous bodybuilding supplements under the impression that it helps muscle grow and repair itself more quickly. When used in the right dosage, creatine can be a good supplement to take if you are trying to bulk up, but the small amount of only 100mg of it in TestoRipped is far from the recommended amounts for promoting muscle growth.
Though TestoRipped diet pills do contain some promising ingredients for promoting muscle growth and fat loss, it is their amounts within the formula that leaves it lacking in potential efficacy. In its current form and suggested daily dosage, TestoRipped will likely not have much effect on any man or woman and at a retail price of about $50 USD for a month’s supply (before shipping and handling) it makes a poor investment indeed.
